Real-life Rapunzels



Although he never had his hair officially recognized by the Guinness Book of Records, Vietnamese Tran Van Hay was known as the man with the longest hair in the world. According to his wife, Tran did not cut his hair for more than 50 years after becoming seriously ill after a haircut, when he was 25. At the time of his death, Tran Van Hay's hair was more than 6.8m long and weighed around 10.5kg - LINK
 



 According to the Guinness Book of Records, the world's longest documented hair belongs to Xie Qiuping of China, at 5.627 m (18 ft 5.54 in) when measured on May 8, 2004. She has been growing her hair since 1973 from the age of 13.- LINK


Naomi Sutherland was just one of The Seven Sutherland Sisters of Lockport, New York, who were world-famous for their incredible hair, which reportedly had a collective length of 37 feet. - LINK
